Plumbwise is a plumbing service and repair company for Fargo, West Fargo, Moorhead and the surrounding Red River Valley, led by master plumber DJ Brown.
The name is the standard. A plumb line is the oldest test of true there is: a weight on a string, hanging exactly vertical, that cannot be argued with. “Wise” is the other half, knowing which repair will still be right in ten winters. Put together, that is how we want every job to leave the house.
Our advertisement lists what we do, “Faucets, Disposals, Outdoor Hose Bibs, Valve Replacement, Water Heaters, Etc.”, and then says something most plumbing companies will not: “Sorry, No Remodeling Services.” We chose that. A company that is not tied up in kitchen and bathroom remodels can come and fix what has stopped working. The Better Business Bureau describes our work the same way: “Residential & light commercial plumbing service & repair.”
The Fargo-Moorhead metro is split by a state line, and each state licenses plumbers separately. DJ’s license numbers are printed on our advertisement: ND-2112 for North Dakota and MN-PJ738927 for Minnesota. You can check a North Dakota license with the State Plumbing Board in Bismarck, and a Minnesota license with the Department of Labor and Industry; we explain how here.
On our Nextdoor page we describe ourselves as providing “the longest lasting best plumbing products” available, with a “lifetime warranty on all service and repair.” The two go together. We can stand behind a repair for good because we are careful about what we install.
Neighbors have described DJ as “honest, dependable, and very reasonable.” That is the reputation we work for: tell the truth about what is wrong, charge a fair price, and do what we said we would do. As we wrote ourselves: “We love our customers.”
